LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Little Rock Fashion Week is hosting its annual Model Search. Come ready, dressed and impress this year’s LRFW judges.

Judges include:

  • Marlisa Goldsmith, KTHV 11 morning anchor
  • Chevette Durham, owner of Bouncing Kidz Boutique
  • Karia Daniel, licensed cosmetology instructor and loctician
  • L.A. Rose, owner of Hollywood Beauty & Style and Deco Rose Couture Custom Fashions
  • Omar Rosas, Salon Karizma hairstylist
  • Rance Golden Jr., creator of Total Rance Live and audio engineer of KARK NBC 4 and KLRT FOX 16

“I’m always excited about the annual model search to discover new talent and see familiar faces” says Brandon D. Campbell, creator and executive producer of LRFW. “LRFW is the best platform for those models who dream of being the next Naomi Campbell, or the next Tyson Beckford to be discovered or to take their modeling careers to the next plateau.”

This year’s Model Search will be held on May 2 and 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the La Quinta Inn & Suites, located at 617 S. Broadway St. in downtown Little Rock. Come excited with a positive attitude and prepared tryout to be a LRFW model.

Every year, hundreds of diehard models from all corners of Arkansas and neighboring states come to LRFW’s Model Search wanting a spot in LRFW’s one-of-a-kind fashion productions.

“It takes a lot of courage to tryout in front of qualified judges who don’t know you, and you don’t know them. Your ability to take direction and show of your talent through your walk and confidence are keys in helping you get chosen as an official LRFW model,” said Campbell.

Aspiring LRFW 2015 models should arrive wearing a plain white T-Shirt or tank top and heels if you’re a female. Do not wear jewelry, accessories or makeup. Your natural beauty is what could take you far at the LRFW 2015 Model Search. Females, males and children of all ages and sizes are wanted.

Models that are chosen by the judges to walk the LRFW runways from July 13 through the 18 will be notified via e-mail by May 12. Those models will be in the running for LRFW 2015 Model of the Year, which would earn the winner a model contract with Oneofakind Talent, cash prize, webpage at LittleRockFashionWeek.com and LRFW merchandize along with apparel from iME.

LRFW 2015 marks the seventh year of this ground breaking fashion experience starring local, national and internationally based designers and live entertainment. Today, it’s recognized as the South’s fastest growing fashion week. Annually, its model search is the most attended model casting in Arkansas. The LRFW 2014 Model of the Year is enthusiastic about the upcoming model search and returning to Little Rock for this year’s LRFW production. “Meeting new people and making friends with other models is always fun,” said Faith Laureles, of Baton Rouge, La. “If selected for LRFW, have fun, don’t stress out and just enjoy being a model!”
