LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - With the fourth of July fast approaching, it would be good to know where in central Arkansas you can light your fireworks.

Here are some of the cities where you can and can't shoot off your pyrotechnics:

 

  • Batesville: Fireworks are illegal within city limits without a permit
  • Benton: You can shoot off starting July 3 and ending July 5 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Bryant: The public is allowed to shoot of fireworks from July 3 until July 5 from noon until 10 p.m.

- The Bryant Police Department also stated that fireworks cannot be shot off within 300 ft of a park, gas station or gas, oil and propane facility. You also can't be within 1000 feet of hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

 

  • Cabot: Fireworks are banned within city limits
  • Conway: Fireworks are banned within city limits
  • Hot Springs: Fireworks are banned within city limits
  • Jacksonville: Fireworks are banned within city limits
  • Little Rock: Fireworks are banned within city limits
  • Maumelle: Fireworks can only be shot on July 4 from 10 a.m. till 10 p.m.
  • West Little Rock: Fireworks are banned within city limits
  • North Little Rock: Fireworks are banned within city limits
  • Russellville: Fireworks are allowed starting July 2 and lasting until July 5 from 10 a.m. till 10 p.m.
  • Atkins: Fireworks can be shot starting June 28 and ending July 24 from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m.
  • Searcy: Fireworks are banned within city limits
  • Sherwood: Fireworks are banned within city limits
