UCA television station available through U-verse

CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - A station previously only available in Conway will no spread to various parts of Arkansas. 

The University of Central Arkansas' Channel 6 television station is now available on U-verse, Channel 99.

“I'm extremely excited to be able to reach a new audience through Channel 6's original programming,” said Chris Churchill, director of Channel 6 Television. “Now, thanks to AT&T U-verse, UCA students, family and fans can experience our programming from anywhere in central Arkansas.”

Channel 6 will cover from Little-Rock to Pine Bluff, including Benton, Bryant, Cammack Village, Conway, Haskell, Jacksonville, Little Rock, Maumelle, Pulaski County, Shannon Hills, Sherwood and Searcy.

​To access Channel 6's programming through U-verse, browse to U-verse Channel 99, which will display a list of available Public Education Government (PEG) channels. Click on Conway and then UCA Television.

 Jacksonville police keeping crime out of neighborhoods

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) - The Jacksonville Police Department participates in the Crime Free Multi-Housing and Crime-Free Rental Property Program in an attempt to keep crime out of neighborhoods. 

Police are encouraging property owners, managers and landlords to participate in the program as well, in hopes of a conjoined effort to provide clean safe living and reduced crime for the community.

The next session will be a three part evening class done Tuesday Feb. 17 through Thursday Feb. 19. from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
