Routine bridge inspection will require lane closures on I-30

LITTLE ROCK (AHTD) – A routine bridge inspection will require lane closures on Interstate 30 in Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will be inspecting the Interstate 30 Arkansas River Bridge in Little Rock. The work will require closing the eastbound and westbound outside lanes on the bridge. This will reduce traffic to two lanes in each direction.

The lane closures will be Sunday, October 5th between 5:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
